Pinterest's New Ad Format: Promoted Carousels
Pinterest recently announced that it is launching a new ad format called Promoted Carousels. This platform allows businesses to use up to five images within one ad to tell stories, enabling users to swipe through or see their website by tapping on the image.
CoverGirl, for example, has already begun using these Promoted Carousels to advertise its TruBlend Foundation and saw an increase in its brand awareness by 3.8 points. Other companies like DSW, Cheerios, and Everlane have made similar improvements in their awareness as a result of this new platform.
