Spotify Launches Adoptify
Did you know dogs have their own unique taste of music just like we do? In a recent study from University of Glasgow, dogs showed varying responses to different genres of music, revealing the existence of dogs' musical preferences.
This finding inspired Spotify to collaborate with Animal Welfare Munich to launch Adoptify, a platform that matches owners with adoptable pets based on their song preferences. The website features videos of dogs listening to their favorite songs, and if you find one that matches your own musical taste, you can get additional information about the dogs' genders, birthdays, and breeds. The campaign was released via Serviceplan Munich, an agency from Serviceplan Group which is one of the largest owner-operated advertising agency groups in Europe.
"No other music provider knows and analyzes the musical preferences of their listeners as well as Spotify," said Hans-Peter Sporer, Creative Director at Serviceplan Campaign X. "We will use this to make recommendation to users by displaying dogs who like the same music in personalized video banners."
